The challenge
The team at BBN had grown dissatisfied with their service at HubSpot, and were on the look out for a platform which could offer the following functionality:
Weekly Newsletters and ad-hoc Announcements to Members

Connection via Zapier to send Automated Membership Data
The BBN team’s mission and values extends through to their choice of supplier, ensuring each company they engage with for service, shares a similar mission.
Hannah Cox, Founder at The Better Business Network was first introduced to EcoSend via a referral from Richard Dickson at PlayItGreen.
Hannah and The BBN team proceeded to set-up a free trial with EcoSend, to see if it could match their requirements.
Results
Having exported their entire contact base from HubSpot into a CSV file, James at The Better Business Network proceeded to upload all their users, including all custom property data, into EcoSend Contacts.
Using EcoSend’s no-code drag & drop email Builder, James built out BBN Newsletters and Event announcement templates, to test their first campaigns.
Using the imported data, The Better Business Network are able to target specific segments within their user base, such as contacts who have previously attended their in-person Events.
James also set-up an automated workflow via Zapier, to send in continuous membership data into EcoSend.
Via this automation, EcoSend automatically triggers a new user Onboarding Sequence to welcome new members, and provide them with all the information they need to get started during their first week.
The EcoSend Support team were also on-hand to assist The Better Business Network with migrating their custom email domain, in order to send white-label emails from EcoSend.
Having sent their first campaigns, and satisfied with the result, The Better Business Network completed their migration to EcoSend!
