Yuval is an ethical email consultant who helps eCommerce B corps, 1% for the Planet, and other good doers turn their subscribers into their biggest F.A.N.s.
Named a "Top Marketer to Watch in 2024", Yuval challenges the so-called "best practices" and gives actionable "better practices" that are deeply rooted in consent-based and audience-centric strategies that improve email performance and conversions.
She's also a food lover (especially pasta) and a full-time nomad on a mission to find a place to call home.
The challenge
As a champion of Ethical Email Marketing, Yuval had a keen interest in ensuring her choice of email platform reflected her business’s mission and values.
But beyond EcoSend’s Sustainability credentials, Yuval needed a platform which could meet her technical requirements for sending highly-targeted, segmented email-campaigns.
After conversations with other users in the Ethical Marketing and Sustainability communities, as well as having experienced multiple platforms through her client work, Yuval set-up a trial of the EcoSend platform to see if it could match her requirements.
Yuval has also featured on The EcoSend Podcast as a guest-speaker and expert in email Marketing.
Results
Yuval began with a 7 day free trial of EcoSend, during which she set-up an Onboarding call with The EcoSend Support team to discuss the platform’s functionality.
Yuval was pleased to review EcoSend’s Smart Groups and Filters, with the ability to create segmented lists based on both AND/OR logic filtering.
Yuval was also happy to learn about EcoSend’s Conditional Unsubscribe logic, which ensures to filter out automated-link clicking, and prevent accidental unsubscribes.
Having migrated her first Newsletter template into EcoSend Broadcasts, Yuval next integrated an EcoSend Form into her Wix website; in order to capture new email addresses.
Additionally, Yuval added an Automated Message to send to new subscribes to her email list, offering introductory information about the Newsletter, as well as links to her free resources and paid offers.
As part of EcoSend’s Onboarding Service, Yuval set up a call with the EcoSend Customer Success team, who assisted her with questions and helped her become familiar with the features of a new platform.
In addition, Yuval had a call with the EcoSend Product team to offer feedback and suggestions for the EcoSend Product Roadmap.
Satisfied that the platform could meet her requirements, Yuval completed the migration and began sending out the first editions of her Ethical Emails Newsletter from EcoSend.
